Our Mission
At Sandbanks Physiotherapy, our mission is to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness through personalised physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
We provide this service in the comfort and convenience of your own home or work space.
Our Story
Laura Wines

Laura studied at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Alongside her studies she worked in the paediatric physiotherapy department at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol until she graduated in 2008. Laura began her career in the musculoskeletal outpatient department at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury before moving to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester to complete her core junior and senior rotations. It is here that Laura spent 7 years working as a clinical specialist Physiotherapist and team lead in the orthopaedic department. After relocating back to her home town of Poole she worked in the Older Persons Therapy Team at Poole Hospital and continues to support her local NHS Trust on a bank contract since starting Sandbanks Physiotherapy in 2024.
Laura has vast experience treating a variety of conditions in many different settings. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to her patients, using both time-tested and the latest evidence-based techniques.

We come to you so you can benefit from both comfort and convenience.
We provide everything you may need for your assessment and treatment. This includes a physiotherapy couch, yoga mat, free weights, resistance bands, Kinesiology Tape, massage lotions and more!
All we need is a little bit of space and for you to dress appropriately for the area you would like examined. Loose fitting clothes that can easily expose the body part or be removed easily tend to work best.
If we are seeing you for mobility issues or a functional problem we can assess you moving in and outside your home to help address the problems you have. We can offer recommendations on mobility and functional aids for you to self purchase.
If you have children or pets in your home we can work with them in tow!
